Sealing and identifying in just one step: empty speedpipe - without any fibre optics - are sealed gas- and water-tight up to 0.5 bar due to the duct plug. Before the blowing-in process the protective cap is pulled off and the identification label remains on the end of the speedpipe in the distributor.
